Heating A fixed heater must be installed in the main living area.
Bathrooms Must have a washbasin and either a shower or bath, with a continuous supply of hot and cold water.
Kitchen A dedicated area with a sink, food preparation surface, and a stovetop with two or more burners.
Laundry (if provided) Must be connected to hot and cold water.
Electrical Safety Must have a modern switchboard fitted with safety switches (RCDs).
Locks & Windows All external doors and openable windows must have working locks.
Window Coverings Bedrooms and living areas must have blinds or curtains that block light and provide privacy.
